Listen up.

I'm about to embark on a brief adventure with non-veganism. Judge me if you must. It has nothing to do with a lack of vegan options in SoCal (because honestly, Southern California is a vegetarian's veritable Valhalla). I'm just the type of vegan that tries to pay attention to that little voice inside our bodies that tells us what we need. Or maybe that voice just tells us what we crave. Regardless, when that voice says "Eat fish!" I might deny it for a little while, but eventually, I cave.
And when I cave, I cave hard. So I'm gifting myself three (hopefully) spectacular dining experiences in my childhood stomping grounds: Orange County. Laguna Beach, to be more specific. And to get even more specific, I'm going to tempt my palate with Nirvana Grille, Sundried Tomato Cafe, and hush.
All of this is possible because of the Laguna Beach Visitors and Conference Bureau. In celebration of the quickly approaching spring season, they're treating me to a spring fling of three fine dining experiences. Not only do I love these folks for feeding me, but you can also log on to their web site at lagunabeachinfo.com to find incredibly valuable information on Laguna Beach weather, hotels, events, and of course, restaurants.
Oh, and if you're feeling so inclined, why not check out my full listing of eight delectable Laguna Beach establishments?

The photo is of me, in fact, and was shot by my amazing mother, Ellen Brydum © 2010.
