I'm curious... where do you like to work out when you're in the Los Angeles area?

Maybe you like a good hike; maybe you surf; maybe you've got a favorite chain of gyms you frequent all across the country; or maybe you just like to take it easy while you're traveling.

I wanna know how you get your exercise on!

personally, i love doing yoga. it's an easy thing for me to keep up whether i'm at home or traveling (and it's an AWESOME way to beat jet lag. in fact, you can even do certain postures while you're in your seat on an airplane -- combating blood clots and fatigue!)

i practice hot yoga, which is a pretty intense 90-minute commitment. but nothing makes me feel healthier. my favorite spots in los angeles are:
bikram yoga downtown LA
bikram yoga silverlake

but i have to admit, often when i'm on vacay, i just stay active by swimming in the ocean ;)
I enjoy running along the 10 freeway. If the 10 has traffic, I'll use 24 hour fitness. They're fast and reliable. You can basically find them anywhere but here's one downtown :)

24-hour fitness is a great idea! you can join one in your hometown, and then work out all over the US. you're so savvy ;)
