There's so much to do all over Los Angeles county ~ where do you like to venture to?
In Hollywood, I like to go to The Second City or ioWest improv theaters to watch a show.
I like window shopping in Silverlake and The Dresden Room to hear groovy lounge music.
For big museums, I love LACMA and the Natural History museum ~ and for a more intimate artsy setting, I love nucleus gallery in Alhambra (followed by cheese balls at Alondra's!)
Downtown, I'm all about Little Tokyo and the Los Angeles Public Library <3
For my neighbor Pasadena, I'm all about Comic Book Factory, the Pasadena City College swap meet and the Pasadena Academy Theater ~ matinee's $2.00, evening show $3.00 and every Saturday night a retro midnight movie ($8.00).
It's so hard to choose! I feel like my list could be endless. But I really love the Echo Park/Silverlake neighborhood. When I'm searching for the perfect vintage dress, I head over to Flounce Vintage. When I want the sweetest date night, it's definitely all about Masa of Echo Park. For fast and delicious Vietnamese food, I dig Pho Cafe in Silverlake. And for the cheapest vegan comfort food, I head over to Vegan House. Plus, I adore checking out my fave bands and grabbing a drink at The Echo and The Echoplex.
