I realize that everyone has their own tastes, but I have to know just one thing. Where is your absolute favorite place in SoCal to grub? I don't care if its a four star restaurant or a little hole in the wall. Please, let me know.  I'm also being just a wee bit selfish posting this, because I'm looking for some new places to try.

I don't even know where to start! There are so many delicious choices down here in Southern California.

My favorite place to eat in San Diego would have to be Extraordinary Desserts (http://extraordinarydesserts.com/). My friends and me used to drive an hour just to chill out there! Their tea selection is fantastic and they are true to their name: their desserts really are extraordinary. And they change daily!

Another favorite of mine is Mother's Market & Kitchen (http://www.mothersmarket.com/). It's pretty much my go-to place whenever I'm visiting my parents in Huntington Beach. It's a veggie-friendly cafe & juice bar which never fails to please. Definitely my favorite SoCal lunch spot!
Well, I know where I'm going next time I'm in San Diego!
I'm definitely with Elisa. There are SO many delicious choices, where do you even start? I guess I'll list a couple of my faves in each region, starting with LA:

My current go-to for a yummy, wine-and-dine experience is Masa of Echo Park. The pizza is INCREDIBLE (vegan choices for me and all-meaty, Chicago-style deep dish for my BF!) The wine is always flowing. And my guy SWEARS by their homemade bread pudding. Plus, it's one of the coziest spots I've discovered in Los Angeles over the past few years.

The newest place that I have fallen in love with is over in Santa Monica at Buddha's Belly. I was SO impressed with their Asian-fusion choices (I mean, literally a combo of Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean cooking). Again, great choices for veggies AND meat lovers. Plus, we brought a huge party of adults and kids here on a weekend evening and it was loads of fun.

For a bit of sophistication in one of the most laid-back LA neighborhoods, I'd head over to Venice Beach's Hal's Bar and Grill. The staff is simply dreamy -- so attentive and accommodating. The food is really elegant, fresh, and fairly portioned. And combine all that with live jazz and modern art!

I'll have to give some more thought to OC and SD :)

I LOVE that you included a photo of Disneyland's Blue Bayou here. Growing up in Orange County, it was a birthday treat every year to go to Disneyland with my mom and have lunch at Blue Bayou. I haven't been there in years, though, because I never remember to make a reservation!

My other favorite places to eat in the Disneyland Resort are:
1) Disneyland's Pizza Port in Tomorrowland next to Space Mountain (tasty pizza, pasta, salads, cookies, etc.)
2) Disneyland's Dole stand at the Tiki Room in Adventureland (OMG pineapple whip! OMG pineapple juice! OMG pineapple float!!!)
3) Downtown Disney District's La Brea Bakery (I love their salads, but they're really known for their hot, pressed paninis)
4) Disney's California Adventure's Mission Tortilla Factory (FREE food at Disney! Sometimes they're serving corn tortillas, sometimes flour)
Whenever my fiancee and I go to Disneyland for our anniversary, we make sure our anniversary dinner is at the ever incredible Blue Bayou. The atmosphere and the food are incredible, it is easily one of the most intimate and romantic places I've been...despite the fact that it's in the middle of Disneyland haha

I haven't eat at the Blue Bayou in soooooo long. I wonder if they have any vegetarian options...
That's one thing that is very cool about Disney. The consistently have both veggie and gluten-free options. They want everyone to be able to eat at and enjoy their park!

Vegetarian at Blue Bayou? I guess it's just been awhile. So I'm SUPER excited it's officially Halloween Time over at the park. I'm thinking I need to plan a day that involves: A Haunted Mansion Holiday, Pirate's of the Caribbean, and dinner at Blue Bayou :)

I love Bistro de la Gare and Radhika's in South Pasadena, Sitar Indian Cuisine, Robin's BBQ & The Counter Burger in Pasadena, Miceli's, The Waffle and Musso & Frank's Grill in Hollywood and Tangier in Silverlake for Korean BBQ.
Any vegan options at any of those spots? ;)

Of course...there are...*thinks quickly*

My Vegan - delicious Thai restaurant I have personally eaten at and enjoyed

Green Earth Vegan Cuisine - On Fair Oaks. I haven't eaten there because it's mostly soy related (allergic) but it has fantastic reviews

Loving Hut is a vegan place relatively near where I live in Alhambra, but I haven't tried there either (but it has good reviews on Yelp)
