We've talked about favorite parks, and favorite beaches. We, however, haven't talked about favorite rides. It doesn't have to be a roller coaster, or a dark ride. It can even be something as simple as that beauty of a ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier. So, please, what's your favorite ride? Mine is a roller coaster. Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain, to be exact. Nothing quite as awesome as that particular flying coaster.

There's nothing quite like the original ;)

I actually managed to make it to the Haunted Mansion early enough that I got to see it dressed up for the holidays. It was cool, but I really kinda like the regular version better.

I've been Disney TWICE in the last month, but have yet to make it on A Haunted Mansion Holiday. The line was just too long. But I think I'm going to try once more tomorrow night -- just to ride it and Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy. Spooky!

I did go - on Sunday. It was 104 but because the park wasn't crazy crowded it really did not feel as hot as let's say a 90 degree day in August would - when the park is filled to the brim. The only ride we really had to wait for was The Haunted Mansion (30 minutes but unsurprising since the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff was only put up a week or so prior).
I just kept dousing myself with cold water from the faucets ~ that also kept me very cool. I do think that the heat caused a lot of the breakdowns that were going on. I've never had a ride break down on me before Sunday - and I used to be an annual pass holder (I miss those days! *sniff*)

Didn't you just go to Disneyland this past weekend? How did you survive the heat?!

I am a Disneyland girl through & through! My favorite Disney rides are Casey Jr. train and the Storybook boats ;) I want a back yard full of beautiful miniatures like you see on both of those rides! <3

in terms of non-amusement park rides, I love the gondola boat rides at Long Beach. great for dates.

I love Goliath at Six Flags. I can go on Space Mountain over and over again! Oh, The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios is great!

Ooooh... I've never been! Where are the gondolas at?

I rode "The Simpsons Ride" for the first time the other day. It was INSANE!
